Sammy is a ray of sunshine. Always up for a natter and with that little mischievous glint in her eye that will often transpire to an ‘oh we really shouldn’t get another’ margarita. Sammy’s life is a wonderful mix of work hard, play hard. Day to day you can find her working on Tide + Seek - her sustainable swimwear brand regularly getting hailed by the likes of Glamour, Health & Fitness or even Cosmo as one of the best sustainable brands out there. When the ocean calls, however, Sammy’s off. You might find her sipping coconuts in Sri Lanka, roaming the streets of Mexico or snowboarding in the Alps.
A little about me, I’m Sammy the founder of Tide + Seek. I live in sunny Newquay and my main hobbies are anything that involves being outdoors. I absolutely love going camping, surfing, snowboarding and travelling but obviously during these times my favourite activities aren’t really possible. To keep me going I’ve been surfing when it’s quiet (I can walk to the surf) and I’ve been getting into running as well as attempting the Insanity workouts, but they’re so hard!
It’s been a bit of a bumpy few weeks for Tide + Seek, as I’m sure it has been for everyone, however I’ve been trying to use the downtime to really focus on parts of the business that get overlooked when you’re super busy with the day to day stuff. I’ve been looking into how to improve the website for user experience as well as trying to think of more creative and fun content ideas for the future of Tide + Seek.
